Spidazuk
Tom- Web of Deceit Customs: My name is Tom Gerard, and I've been customizing since around 2008. The first time I saw custom Hot Wheels was at an East Coast Hot Wheels Club trade show. A couple of months later I attended another and thought " I can do that as well". I worked on some customs and placed 3rd my first contest at their following show and haven't let up since. The screen name Spida (spider) Zuk( pronounced zook) as in Suzuki Samurai. I got the name when a friend was off roading with me in my Samurai and thought it climbed anything like a spider and that I have a spider zuki. Web of Deceit Customs is the banner I do my customs under. My customs to me are an elaborate deceit in that I take something plain and make it look more than what it is. I decided since I was the Spidazuk, I spin a web of deceit with all the customs I do. I'm married for 14 years and a 15 going on 16 y.o. son, Zachary. I rejoined the HW collecting world in 1997. I began with Street Roaders( Suzuki Samurais) and just expanded til I was trying to get everything in every color. I've since toned down my collecting choosing to focus on Chevelles, Paddy Wagons, Red Barons, funny cars, Tom Daniel cars, and whatever catches my eye.
