Opening a Blister pack
I find it a nice touch when customizing new cars out of the blister pack to put the custom back in the original pack. It serves 2 purposes. 1) It adds an element of protection to your custom. 2) Its a nice touch to any finished product and people can see where your custom started out at.
What you will need, Blister pack. Can of Goof off. Now many other brands of goo remover are available, but I find that Goof off works best.

Step 1
Basic blister pack
Obtain the blister you want to work with. Please know that I have only found this to work on your basic Hot wheels blister packs ( without the colored back )
Step 2
With Goof off applied
Apply Goof off to the back side of the card where the blister is attached to the card. I only apply a fair amount and only to the sides and bottom. It makes it easier to seal the blister and keeps it positioned where it was originally. Now if you want to apply the blister to a custom card then apply the Goof off to all 4 sides. Allow the Goof off to soak through the card for a few seconds and loosen the adhesive. Note: If you apply Goof off to the front of the card it will loosen the print on that side.So be sure to keep it on the rear only. Gently seperate the blister from the card on the 3 sides you applied Goof off to.
Step 3
Open Blister pack
Voila! you can see how cleanly the blister seperates from the card.. Now just put the card aside and let it dry.Once you are done with your custom you can safely and easily put it back in the blister for safe keeping.
